Weldtool 17-4PH is a precipitation-hardening stainless steel designed for welding materials of similar chemical composition. This alloy is highly valued for its ability to be heat treated to reach high strength and hardness levels. It is exceptionally well-suited for cladding or hardfacing steel mill rolls, rebuilding hydro-turbine components, shafts, impellers, and steam turbine components. Supplied in heat-sealed 4-mil durable membranes encased in resealable tubes. Includes actual certifications. Conforms to AWS 5.9.
