Weldtool ER70S-6 is a high-quality, general-purpose mild steel MIG wire containing higher levels of Manganese and Silicon than other standard grades. This results in superior deoxidation, making it ideal for welding over light rust, mill scale, or oil. It produces a smooth bead with minimal spatter and excellent wetting. Commonly used in automotive fabrication, structural steel, agricultural equipment, and general shop maintenance. Best results achieved with 75/25 Argon/CO2 shielding gas.
